At MCF, we believe in the power of community and the strength of collective liberation. We are more than just a farm; we are a movement. A sanctuary for Black and Indigenous women and femmes to heal, grow, and reclaim our ancestral heritage.

Our Story

Founded by spiritual activist, Kat Niambi aka The Hungry Medium; Middleton-Cooke Farms Inc., is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the memory of her mother and father:
Emily Middleton and Bennett W. Cooke.

FOUNDER BIO

  • The Mission

    Middleton-Cooke Farms is a support organization for Black and Indigenous women and femmes; dedicated to healing racialized trauma through wellness programming, ancestral veneration, and community care. We hold space for our people to breathe freely, exist authentically, and reclaim the legacy that was never meant to be taken from us.

  • The Vision

    An Afro-diasporic community where healing is collective, guided by our connection to ancestral spirit, and where Black and Indigenous women and femmes are held fully, safely, and without condition.

  • Our Community

    We are a support network for Black and Indigenous women and femmes doing the work of healing racialized trauma — together. Through gatherings like The Liberation Party, wellness programming, and ancestral practice, we create spaces where our community can rest, be witnessed, and grow. This is a family we choose and build with intention — rooted in reclaimed land and lineage, and united by the belief that none of us heal alone.
