Site Visit to The Mills House Hotel

I know you all are curious about the summers I spent here in Charleston as a little girl and pre-teen, and I want to share those memories with you. However, after pulling a tarot card yesterday (Jupiter Day), I was guided to stay in the present moment. So, let's talk about my recent site visit to The Mills Hotel, the proposed host accommodations for our inaugural event, The Liberation Party, in June 2025.

The moment I heard that The Mills Hotel is Black-owned, I felt in my bones that it was the perfect place for our guests. Although I had attended two events there before, I needed to take a closer look at the rooms and common areas. Pamela, my sales rep, was incredibly welcoming and charming, making the visit even more delightful.

This blog entry is short because I wanted to share how fabulous The Mills Hotel is. Staying present and publishing this on a Venus Day feels like a positive step towards manifesting the abundance needed for our small yet powerful group of worthy Black women and femmes.

I pieced together footage from their website and social media to create another virtual vision board for the collective. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress with The Liberation Party and Middleton-Cooke Farms.

Oh, and I included a reel from Explore Charleston about the origins of Memorial Day, narrated by a good-looking Black man. Enjoy!
